Garrett's pumpkins
His design this year was a toss up between Scrat and Wonder Pets but he chose Scrat from Ice Age so that he could work the little pumpkin into his design. He spent a lot of hours working on the Ice Age Christmas special that is airing this month and felt like it was an appropriate design since it reflects whats been going on in his life lately. I originally had plans for the little pumpkin (carving 2011 as a way of working the date into our pictures) but I thought his idea was better. :-)
Since the projection didn't work as well against the side of the house we moved my pumpkin to the yard.
It's funny how much the projection surface and the angle of the pumpkin can affect the overall design!
We enjoyed carving our pumpkins. Our annual pumpkin carving date is something we look forward to every year.
And one of the best parts? Roasted pumpkin seeds! We made three different batches this year. Season salt, garlic & salt, and cinnamon sugar & nutmeg.
