"The Beach"

At playgroup on Wednesday we went to a beach themed playground.

They had a boardwalk, playground equipment, water to play with and areas to hose the kids down.

Ethan loved running up and down the boardwalk. This photo is hopelessly blurry (see a few boards back? That was were I was focusing) but I love this photo anyways because you can see how happy he was.

Ethan tried playing in the water with his friend Carter

But he decided he wasn't a fan of the mud.

And he especially didn't like being accidently splashed with the icky mud.

Hehehe

I think he gets it from me. I hated having my hands dirty as a child.

I'm still not a huge fan of dirty hands either. It's okay, Ethan. :-)

From what I hear, I used to squat in the sand (instead of sitting in it) when I was a kid too.

And this? I have no idea what this was about. Really.

 Little squirt prefers not to use his hands to carry his sippy around. (Ahem...Aunt Morgan? I think he got this from you)

He was pretty excited about his sippy cup. You can't tell it in the photo but he was looking towards some fountains that the other kids were running and playing in. He wasn't too sure about them and didn't want to risk getting too close.

Mud and fountain aversion aside, Ethan had a fantastic time! He was so worn out when we got home!

Did you know...

That this toy makes a great chair?

Apparently Ethan thinks so!

More Chex please!

This kid takes his Chex cereal seriously. (and doesn't like to share with Mama)

They are great for playing outside.



Easy to slip on quickly.

And Ethan can even put them on himself some of the time.

He's getting so big so fast.

That I thought you'd want to see him wearing them while they still fit.
