He then proceeded to discover that the whisk can bounce. Needless to say, he was quite entertained. :-)

Pillow Fight!

 

I love that when Garrett gets home Ethan can hear him come in and he gets super excited and runs to the door.

Immediately Ethan asks to be picked up and then starts to run around in his "chase me" mode. On this day, they played in the pillows instead. We recently had visitors so our extra bedding was out. Ethan had a blast playing pillow fight with his Dada.

 

 

 

 

I love watching them play together. By the end of their playtime Ethan is worn out and ready for bed!

Old Photos Found on Camera

When we went to Galveston, I brought along my old point and shoot camera for the days spent playing on the beach all covered with sunscreen and grime. It had been forever since I last used it. In fact... it turns out that it had been exactly 1 year and 3 days since I last used it. And the last time I used it, I didn't download my images so there were a few suprise images waiting on the camera for me. :-)

Its hard to believe that this was my baby boy! He's had a lot of changes in a year.

I also find it funny that in the old photos he was wearing an outfit with a fish on it and he was laying on his sailboat sheets. And 1 year and 3 days later he was at the beach watching boats (and a couple of sailboats) go by. :-)

House Photos: Computer Room!

Whew! It took most of Saturday but we finished unpacking and sorting through the boxes in the computer rom (3rd bedroom) and it is now organized and put together. Feels fantastic! (Now I just need to finish the last few touches in our bedroom and I'll be done with the house photos)

Crayons

Someone had his first exposure to crayons. And he loved it! He wasn't such a big fan of sidewalk chalk when I introduced it two months ago, so I wasn't too certain what his reaction to crayons would be. They were a major hit! He played with them forever and when I took him down (mistakingly thinking he was done) he threw a little bit of a fit and wanted back up in the chair.
