Project 365: May Mosiac

151/365: Visiting

On Friday Astrid, my mom, my dad, and the boys and I went to the mall for lunch. Later Ethan rode the train at the mall and played on the playground. Later on in the evening Garrett joined us for dinner at Jason's Deli. Landon got to sit up in the highchair at the restaurant for the first time and made us all guilty while we ate our food. He had food envy watching us eat. He thinks he's ready to eat a sandwich.

150/365: Swinging at the park

My family was in town for the weekend! We took the boys to the playground while waiting for Garrett to pick my dad up from the airport. We swung, walked, saw lightning bugs, and got to see the sunset together.

149/365: Knock Knock

Another thunderstorm and another big tree limb down. This time our neighbors front tree lost one of its large limbs. It fell on our roof and slid down and fell across our front walk. Thankfully the only damage was to the gutters.

147/365: Bug House

When we got home the bugs got a new house...mine. I should have seen that coming. I don't know whatever made me think that he would leave them inside their little "bug house".

146/365: Patriotic

May Photo Dump: May 11th - 20th

Mother's day waffles and roses. Sweet because four Mother's days ago I got waffles and red roses just hours after we found out that we were expecting Ethan. These red roses came from our garden and Garrett and Ethan made these waffles together.

Later on geo-caching in the afternoon for my Mother's Day.

He gave up naps a while back but lately has been adding them back in (on his own terms). Usually that means that he falls asleep around 4 or 5 pm on the floor with his favorite throw blanket. This is becoming quite a habit.

Tummy time. Still no closer to crawling.

A storm knocked a large limb off our neighbors tree. It broke a few slats on the fence (which was easily fixed) and thankfully my car was fine.

Waiting out a different storm in Mommy's closet. Storm season has definitely hit.

Sleeping with two Elephants. Not quite what we had in mind, Landon! We gave him one then discovered that he already had one in the crib. He wanted both.

Going on a bug hunt.

He was very taken with the roly polys. He brought some home and gave them rides on his wooden train set.

 Waiting up for Daddy.

I couldn't get the bottle to his mouth fast enough.

Evening at the playground.

Playtime with Landon

More playing in the nursery.

144/365: Oh yes you did

Tantrum for an hour and 20 minutes in a public place. I did eventually get you off the path and into the grass so people could walk past you better. Then I spread out a picnic blanket and camped out next to you. I never did figure out why you were so upset.

143/365: Tickle Monster

Looks like the rough-play has already started. Already rough-housing on Momma's bed! Silly boys.

141/365: Waiting out the storm

Little "severe thunderstorms" distraction. We made a tent in the living room with his bed and watched cartoons!

140/365: Gotcha!

He takes his food seriously.

139/365: Looking in

We were up late cleaning out the closet to get ready for possible severe weather. 12:30 am arrived and I still hadn't taken my picture for the day.  Thankfully my husband was willing to assist. He's so good to me! And I know this photo is kind of weird, but we were REALLY really tired and it didn't seem so weird at the time. :-)

138/365: Trick or Treat

May Photo Dump: May 1st- 10th

Showing off his "Auntie's" pretzels. Love that we have an Auntie Anne's in our Walmart!

Walmart tired him out

Evening walk/ride

Beau in a box

 Reading to his owl light.

Playing by Owl-light.

 Come on in, brother!

What do Dinosaurs eat? Why Dinosaur bones of course!

Counting his squares.

Just some of the things that we use these days. Dora hand-soap made him want to wash his hands. Dora cereal however does not make him want to eat.

Playing in the tunnel with Dad.

Showing him how to steer by example
