Post messy yogurt eating, pre-bath art time. Plus it was already time to clean the high-chair. Efficient.  ;-)

I heard a door slam and then giggling

I opened the door to see what the giggling and loud happy shrieks were about and found the two of them playing with the dream light together.

They played and played together until they both had sweaty hair from running and dancing with the stars and couldn't contain their yawns. Then it was time for bed!

On our way out the door I asked Ethan to go grab a pair of white socks and his Darth Vader shoes. (I have to specify which shoes or he'll always go pick the dressier ones.) He spent a while in his room but turned down my offer to go help him find a pair. When he happily emerged he had two different socks. He proudly told me that he pulled the socks apart so that he could "Mix 'n Match" them with his shoes. I decided to go along with it. ;-)

Someone once asked me if I had seen Frozen and then assumed that we hadn't since I have two boys. Oh believe me, we have seen it. Many many times. :-)

Garrett and Ethan made a "venus flytrap" craft that was featured in one of Ethan's kid magazines. They improved on the design (of course) and had a lot of fun playing with it this week.

A Morning at the Children's Garden

The kids and I love going to the Children's Garden at the Arboretum. Garrett however, had never been and finally got the opportunity to join us. I feel like we never get to see the entire garden in one visit and this time wasn't any different. We will have to go back soon so that he can see the rest of it!
