Landon: 3.25 years old

Landon, 

At age 3 1/4 you are 35.8 lbs and 38.5 inches tall. You are already filling out your size 3 clothes at the end of the size range and fitting into a few small 4's as well as filling out your size 4 PJ's. You wear size 9 shoes though a few are already fitting rather tight. You had a huge growth spurt since your birthday!

You are still very much into letters. When its your turn to pick a cartoon you usually ask for Word World or even the Sight Words DVD. You love playing ABC Mouse on the Ipad while big brother has my attention with school work and you are becoming less interested in joining his activities and more on having the playroom to yourself while he is busy.

You have recently gotten into playing with the Duplos and will play with them on and off through the day as well as playing with our other wooden blocks, your firehouse, and our Imaginext toys. You also love the small metal airplanes and spaceship over the hot wheel cars. You'd also rather run acorns down your car ramps instead of cars. You would also rather play with your hands as "people" rather than using the action figures that go with the sets.

Your favorite food is still yogurt though you also enjoy most fruit. You are on a green veggie boycot but will drink them in a smoothie. Carrots are your preferred veggie.

You still love to be outside. A day when you can't go outside is a hard day for you. Even if its cold enough to be in a coat you will still try to play messy and find a water puddle somewhere. You often wear more than one outfit in a day because you find water, mud, or cover yourself head to toe in chalk and end up needing a total outfit change. 

You love bugs and like to pick up any bug that you find. Ew! I've caught you trying to bring bugs into the house as well.

You still love lights and will look to find the lights and lightbulbs in things wherever you go. Lately you noticed the lightbulbs on the back-end  of cars where the handle for the trunk is and will look for it on cars that you pass.

I caught you brushing your teeth with toilet bowl water. 

You adore your big brother and lately you have been into taking his things and purposefully aggravating him to get a reaction. Then you cackle gleefully. I also caught you slapping yourself and saying "Ow Ow! Stop it!" while looking at your brother. This should get interesting.

- (said while playing with a piece of train track and his hand as a person) "Careful, Landon! It's a bobby trap, it's gonna fall!"

You turn most any toy into a spaceship and will run around flying it with sound effects.

Your favorite movie at the moment is "Mr. Peabody and Sherman". You like to pretend that this climbing structure is your time-machine.
