Catching up

Well, I have been bad about blogging these past two weeks. Ethan hasn't been sleeping too well at night (maybe he's teething?) and its all a big sleepy blur to me now. :-) Garrett did want me to blog about our weekend two weeks ago though before I get caught up with the current events.

Two weekends ago, our friends Teddy and Rachel came to visit us (yay!) and we had fun visiting the Dallas World Aquarium and checking out some local restaurants. We ate Ethiopian food and Persian food while they were here. Both were very yummy! We had such a fun weekend and enjoyed their stay!

Here are a few pictures from the aquarium. For those of you who have never been, its several stories high and you start at the top and work your way down a spiral ramp that circles the perimeter. At the top is a rain forest and after a few rain forest levels you end up at the level below the water for the aquarium part and eventually end up in a under water observation tube at the bottom level. It was pretty neat!

Work in Progress

Well, I've been working on Ethan's room bit by bit and it's coming along! I'm not done yet though, he still has some items from his room that must be hiding in random boxes. I'm mainly still missing things like decorative light covers, nightlight, piggy bank, and a few other things. Plus there are boxes in the corner of the room that I did NOT take pictures of. :-)

Anyways though, here is his nursery so far! It might be like this for a while so I thought I'd take pictures. I'm in no immediate danger of getting his room finished soon.

I have no idea what he was smiling at. It was just the two of us and he was smiling at everything but me!

I was going through my computer trying to clear up some space when I ran across these photos of Ethan that I took when he was 10 weeks old. I can't believe that he has more than doubled his age since then.
