Working on the Railroad

Landon got quiet and I found him playing in his room with his trains. I left him alone for a while and each time I checked back his train track had grown. I heard some mad sounds and happy sounds and I expected him to come running out yelling but he stuck with it and figured out how to make everything connect.

Eventually his train track ran from his room right up to the door of Ethan's room. Ethan's room was closed but big brother eventually came out to see what was going on.

He ended up playing trains for an hour. All the crawling back and forth (along with the rest of our day) must have worn him out because what followed next was a NAP. Railroading is hard work!

I hear some variation of this sentence every day. All your toys are in grave danger from falls and need rescuing. Usually from the Wonder Pets. Today, you had imaginary Wonder Pets in your spaceship.

Don't worry though, you saved them. (Though you might need to be worried about those aliens approaching)
