Lens baby: Tea Party

 
On Monday we met up with our lens baby playgroup. I brought pinwheels, blocks and Ethan's wooden truck convinced that he'd be more interested in those toys than in the tea party setup but I was wrong. As soon as we arrived he ran and sat down at our friend's antique table and started pouring himself "tea". Who says tea parties are just for girls?!

A year ago we came to this same park for a tea party play date. Here is a picture comparison of Ethan and his friend who is only 1 day younger than him.

How my 2 year old feels about Easter clothes

Direct quote: "Help me! Help me!". I was dressing him up for a tea party themed photo shoot. We went casual instead. :-)

From a technical standpoint this photo has so many things wrong with it. But as his Mommy, I'm completely in love with it!

{roses or "rowes"}

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.  Ethan recently added the word "roses" to his vocabulary and will point to the roses outside if you ask him where the roses are. Garrett weeded and pruned the rose bed yesterday and brought these beauties in for me to enjoy. (Isn't he sweet?) We've had a lot of blooms in the past week and I have been enjoying having fresh flowers in the house!
