Spring 2014
Today we met up with the ladies and kids in our Lens Baby playgroup. It had been months since I had gotten together with these ladies and I had forgotten how much I missed it! The boys had a lot of fun running around and playing with the other kids and it was wonderful for me to get to talk and practice photography with others who share the same interest!

Maternity Pictures
A few weeks ago we were blessed with a maternity shoot! I wanted to do maternity pictures when I was pregnant with Ethan but we never got around to it so I'm so thankful to have some maternity pictures this time around. The ladies in my Lens Baby playgroup setup a sunset maternity portfolio building session and four of my photographer friends and I met up for the pictures. It was so much fun to take pictures with my friends and I'm so thankful for these talented ladies gifting me with their talent, time, and pictures!
Here I am at almost 34 weeks pregnant with baby #2!

I haven't seen Emmie's pictures yet but when I do I'll update with hers as well.
Thanks again ladies for these special pictures!

Another day at the Arboretum
We had a playdate at the Arboretum today! It was a bit hot and humid and crowded with school field trips to the Chihluly exhibit but we enjoyed ourselves and had a lot of fun playing with our friends. I have a feeling we had better get used to this heat!
Shooting me a very reproachful look. He wasn't happy with me because he ran across an open field of grass and I didn't follow right behind. He was in no danger of getting lost but he was upset when I didn't follow him but waited for him to come back to me.
Admiring one of the glass sculptures
Exploring the little artist houses
You can't tell it by this picture but Ethan's face, arms, legs, etc were so dirty! The heat made him sweat and like most little boys he enjoys playing in the dirt on the dirt paths so all the grime turned to mud. I wish I hadn't put my camera away before I saw his face. He needed a several baby-wipe wipe down.

Lens baby: Tea Party
On Monday we met up with our lens baby playgroup. I brought pinwheels, blocks and Ethan's wooden truck convinced that he'd be more interested in those toys than in the tea party setup but I was wrong. As soon as we arrived he ran and sat down at our friend's antique table and started pouring himself "tea". Who says tea parties are just for girls?!
A year ago we came to this same park for a tea party play date. Here is a picture comparison of Ethan and his friend who is only 1 day younger than him.
Oh, how fast they grow!
