Finally Friends!

Ethan and Bailey are now friends! It took 5.5 years but Ethan sat still long enough for Bailey to feel brave. Ethan was watching a cartoon and Bailey came up and laid down next to him. Ethan gently pet him and he decided to lay down, nuzzle Ethan's hand and meow for more attention.

"He's using kitty talk to say he likes me?"

Later Ethan snuck extra kibbles from the cat bowl to feed Bailey out of his hand. Beau came around sooner but he's less cautious! It was definitely a milestone.

Unlikely friends

With as wary as the cats have been of kids since Ethan became mobile, I am amazed that this ball of energy and this cat are friends.

But they are.

For a while now, Beau has come up to Landon, rubbed up against his leg and then scurried away. He's even let him pet him a time or two.

But now its all the time. Daily. Multiple times a day.

They are starting to build a relationship and I hope that Landon can keep up the friendly rapport!

327/365: Staying warm

Yep, we jumped the gun and put up the tree before Thanksgiving. Just lights though, no ornaments. :-) With as late as Thanksgiving is this year it was hard to wait!

March (mini) photo dump

I accidentally skipped over a few of my March folders when collecting photos for the other post. Whoops!

4.5 years of phone pictures!

Yep, that's how long I've had my current phone! (My husband has had his over 7 years) Thanks to my Dad I can finally get pictures off my phone! I had no idea that I could get a card reader adapter to remove the images. I thought I had to do it via a data plan and thanks to Ethan we don't have a data plan or picture mail. (I handed him my phone while buckling him into a carseat when we was 11 months old. In three instances likes this over a single afternoon of errand running he managed to rack up over $200 by button pushing)

Consequently, after Ethan turned a year old I tried not to use my camera phone because I know the pictures will be "stuck" so the images that I do have I took to show my husband. So I don't have that many photos for it having been so many years. But the photos I do have are special to me in all their low-quality blurry goodness. And now I'll probably start using my camera phone more since I know I can access the images.

February Photo Dump

In no particular order, here are February's un-posted pictures.

"There's an animal in trouble!"

He finally likes a new food, even if it is icecream! But only if its from Jason's Deli!

Just an everyday shot that once they are grown will be a distant reminder. Cloth diapers lined up and ready to go.
