Swimming with Grammy and Grand Daddy

On Saturday my dad rode in the Mesquite Rotory Bike Ride. It was his second year doing it and he went for a longer route and a better time. Great job, Dad! Afterwards we all ate lunch and swam at the hotel. Both boys had a blast swimming.

The next morning, Landon kept bringing his floaties over to us and to his Grand Daddy and Grammy and pouting when we told him we weren't swimming again today. He really had fun!

151/365: Visiting

On Friday Astrid, my mom, my dad, and the boys and I went to the mall for lunch. Later Ethan rode the train at the mall and played on the playground. Later on in the evening Garrett joined us for dinner at Jason's Deli. Landon got to sit up in the highchair at the restaurant for the first time and made us all guilty while we ate our food. He had food envy watching us eat. He thinks he's ready to eat a sandwich.

My family was in town for the weekend! We took the boys to the playground while waiting for Garrett to pick my dad up from the airport. We swung, walked, saw lightning bugs, and got to see the sunset together.
