A Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday

Landon turned TWO on Sunday September 7th. The day before, we celebrated with a Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday party! It was fun seeing him get into the excitement and realize that all the commotion was for HIM. We had a great party with one small caveat- our air conditioner went out at the beginning of the party! It got pretty hot which wasn't fun, but other than that we had a great time!

 

Ethan fell asleep at the beginning of the party.

As part of our entertainment, we had a game with a rotating caterpillar with sticky velcro and plush fruit to throw at him.

We also had some themed coloring pages and mazes.

The little Caterpillars gathered around Landon to sing him Happy Birthday!

State Fair of Texas

A couple of weeks ago, Garrett and I took the boys out to the State Fair. We had been once before when Ethan was a less than a year old so it was a new experience for them.

Ethan rode his first roller coaster and loved it.

Robot Hank make an impression on Ethan. He says that he wants the computer to program Hank to carve pumpkins.

Landon fell in love with this tractor. Like super loved. We barely got him off the thing.

Ethan of course loved the mid-way and the games. Landon got tired from walking and fell asleep halfway through.

The first time we went as a couple with a baby was fun, but our second time was way more rewarding. :-)
